The Votran service area maps and schedules are divided into three areas: East Volusia, West Volusia, and Southeast Volusia. Click here to view the route listing and maps of each service area.

Schedules and maps are available at all sales outlets, local libraries, city halls, county administration buildings, and on all fixed route buses. You can also call Votran and have one mailed to you at no charge. Click here for online version.

You bet! You can use the MyStop Trip Planner by going to the home page and clicking the map image.  You will need to know the address from which you will depart, the address of your destination, and the day and time you will travel.  Riders can use the online trip planner any time or call Votran during normal business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday for the help you need to ride with Votran.

Within city limits the bus benches are placed with the approval of the city. If the city has benches with advertising, then the city has a contract with the company that supplies the bench. Please contact your city public works department for more information.

Passes can be ordered online from the Bus Fares and Passes page.  Votran passes can be obtained at sales outlets in New Smyrna Beach (Council on Aging in the Brannon Center in addition to the library), South Daytona (Votran office), Daytona Beach (Downtown Transfer Plaza), Ormond Beach Library, Deltona Library, and Deland (County Administration Building.) All outlets are served by fixed route bus routes.

Votran’s Commuter Assistance Programs are conducted through a program sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation called reTHINK,  reTHINK can help commuters find carpool, van pool and ride-share opportunities in their area.

Van Pool operations are operated through COMMUTE with Enterprise. COMMUTE with Enterprise is a national company that helps to provide van pooling opportunities in Volusia County and all of Central Florida.

The farebox return or recovery rate varies among transit agencies. Presently, fares account for 16 percent of Votran operating revenues.

90% of Votran expenses fall into four categories:

  • Labor and labor related expenses
  • Fuel and lubricants
  • Insurance (vehicles and facilities)
  • Replacement parts (vehicles and facilities)

Since 2014, Votran added the following enhancements for our riders:

  • Opened the Westside Facility for routes operating in West Volusia
  • Provided service to DeBary SunRail Station
  • Improved frequency on Routes 3, 4, 7, 11, 20, and 60
  • Began two new routes: Route 25 in Deltona and Route 44 in New Smyrna Beach
  • Implemented the MyStop Mobile bus tracking app, Vo-To-Go bus arrival texting service, and Vo-Call an automated system for Gold Service reservations.
