Votran implements additional service adjustments

May 10, 2022

Effective May 22, Votran will implement several additional temporary service adjustments. Service reductions and adjustments will take place to several routes systemwide.

Routes 3, 4, 11 and 60 will now run hourly during the midday period on weekdays, from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Routes 3, 11 and 60 will depart the Votran Transfer Plaza at 32 minutes after the hour, and Route 4 will depart at two minutes after the hour during the hourly service window. Service during the morning and afternoon commuting hours will continue to maintain a 30-minute frequency, Monday through Friday.

Route 10 will now run hourly at all hours, Monday through Friday. Buses will depart the Votran Transfer Plaza at 32 minutes after the hour. Additionally, Route 10 will no longer be interlined with Route 17. Therefore, when the Route 10 bus arrives at the transfer plaza, it will remain as the Route 10 bus.

The hourly service on Saturdays across all routes will remain in place as well as the hourly service on Routes 7 and 20, both of which were changes that were put into effect in April.

Votran continuously evaluates operations and implements route adjustments several times annually in an effort to best optimize and maintain service. These temporary adjustments will remain in place until Votran is able to stabilize the workforce.
