Votran to Temporarily Adjust Some Service Routes due to Biketoberfest

To accommodate expected traffic congestion during Biketoberfest, certain Votran routes will be detoured starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. These changes will persist until the end of services on Sunday, Oct. 22. Votran may introduce additional detours based on evolving traffic situations.

Daytime routes (5 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Routes 1, 8, 18, and 19

• Buses will be unable to use the Intermodal Transfer Facility (ITF). Passengers should go to Halifax and Ora streets to board Route 8, as Routes 1, 18, and 19 will not pass near the ITF while on detour.

Route 1

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on State Road A1A to regular routing. There will be no service to the ITF.
• Inbound: No service in the ITF. From State Road A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza.

Route 8

• Inbound and Outbound: The bus will not serve the ITF and will stay on Halifax Avenue in both directions.

Route 11A/B

• Outbound (11A/B): From the Transfer Plaza, left on Palmetto Avenue, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Fairview Avenue, left on Beach Street to the regular route.
• Outbound (11A): From International Speedway Boulevard, right on Williamson Boulevard, to regular routing. Route 11A will not serve Thames, Fentress, or the Flea Market. Passengers going west of Williamson Boulevard should use Route 60.
• Inbound (11A/B): From Beach Street, right on Fairview Avenue, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right into the Transfer Plaza.

Route 17A/B

• Outbound: Right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on State Road A1A. 
• Inbound: From State Road A1A, left on Silver Beach Avenue, right on Palmetto Avenue to the Transfer Plaza.

Route 18

• Outbound: No detours.
• Inbound: From State Road A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza. There will be no service to the ITF.

Route 19

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on Halifax Avenue, right on University Avenue, left on State Road A1A. There will be no service to the ITF.
• Inbound: No detours.

Night (7 p.m. to midnight) and Sunday Service (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) routes

Night and Sunday services will start and end at the Transfer Plaza and will not go into the ITF.

Route 1

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on State Road A1A to regular routing. No service in the ITF. The route will end at Vining Court and Granada Boulevard. The bus will not travel over the Granada Bridge, but passengers can make connections with Route 3 at the Transfer Plaza.
• Inbound: From A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza. No service to the ITF.

Route 3

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1.
• Inbound: Reverse routing.

Route 4

• Outbound: Left on Palmetto Avenue, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, left on U.S. 1.
• Inbound: Reverse routing.

Route 10N

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Fairview Avenue.
• Inbound: Reverse routing.

Route 10S

• Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to regular routing. There will be no service to the Daytona Beach Flea Market or Thames Road; the bus will stay on International Speedway Boulevard.
• Inbound: No service to the Daytona Beach Flea Market; the bus will stay on International Speedway Boulevard. The bus will continue to the Transfer Plaza from Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard. 

Route 11N

• Outbound: From the Transfer Plaza, left on Palmetto Avenue, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Fairview, left on Beach Street to regular routing.
• Inbound: From Beach Street, right on Fairview Avenue, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza.

Route 15

• Outbound: Right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on Beach Street to regular routing.
• Inbound: From Beach Street, left on Orange Avenue, right on Palmetto Avenue, to the Transfer Plaza.

Route 17

• Outbound: Right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on State Road A1A to regular routing. The bus will end at Raymond Avenue and South Atlantic Avenue. There will be no service over the Dunlawton Bridge; passengers should make connections with Route 4 at the Transfer Plaza.
• Inbound: From State Road A1A, left on Silver Beach Avenue, right on Palmetto Avenue to Transfer Plaza.
