Votran route adjustments for Bike Week
March 1, 2023
In anticipation of traffic congestion surrounding Bike Week, some Votran routes will be adjusted from Friday, March 3, through Sunday, March 12. Riders may experience delays and interruptions in service.
There are currently planned route adjustments; however, additional detours may be implemented depending on traffic conditions.
Monday through Saturday daytime routes
Route 1
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on State Road A1A (A1A) to regular routing. No service to the Intermodal Transfer Facility (ITF).
- Inbound: No service to the ITF. From A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza.
Route 8
- The bus will stay on Halifax Avenue and not service the ITF in either direction.
Route 11A/B
- Outbound (11A/B): Left on Palmetto Avenue, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Fairview Avenue, left on Beach Street.
- Outbound (11A): From International Speedway Boulevard, right on Williamson Boulevard, to regular routing. The route will not serve Thames Road, Fentress Boulevard or the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market. Passengers going west of Williamson Boulevard should use Route 60.
- Inbound (11A/B): From Beach Street, right on Fairview Avenue, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, to the Transfer Plaza.
Route 17A/B
- Outbound: Right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on A1A.
- Inbound: From A1A, left on Silver Beach Avenue, right on Palmetto Avenue, to the Transfer Plaza.
Route 18
- Inbound: From A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza. There will be no service to the ITF.
Route 19
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on A1A. No service to the ITF.
Evening and Sunday routes
The evening and Sunday service will begin and end at the Transfer Plaza and will not enter the ITF.
Route 1
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue, left on A1A to regular routing. No service to the ITF. The route will end at Vining Court and Granada Boulevard. The bus will not travel over the Granada Bridge. Riders should connect with Route 3 at the transfer plaza.
- Inbound: From A1A, right on Seabreeze Boulevard, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza. There will be no service to the ITF.
Route 3
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1.
- Inbound: Reverse routing will occur.
Route 4
- Outbound: Left on Palmetto Avenue, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, left on U.S. 1.
- Inbound: Reverse routing will occur.
Route 10N
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Fairview Avenue.
- Inbound: Reverse routing will occur.
Route 10S
- Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to regular routing.
- Inbound: The bus will continue on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza.
- The route will not serve the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market. Buses will stay on U.S. 92, both inbound and outbound.
Route 15
- Outbound: Right on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Bay Street, right on Beach Street to regular routing.
- Inbound: Reverse routing will occur.
Route 17
- Outbound: Right on Palmetto Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on A1A, to regular routing. The bus will end at Raymond Avenue and South Atlantic Avenue. There will be no service over the Dunlawton Bridge. Riders should connect with Route 4 at the Transfer Plaza.
- Inbound: From A1A, left on Silver Beach Avenue, right on Palmetto Avenue to Transfer Plaza.
Detours in the DeLand area
On Saturday, March 4, the DeLand Bike Rally will take place downtown. Route 20 will be detoured the entire day. Northbound from Amelia Avenue, the bus will continue straight to Plymouth Avenue, left on Plymouth Avenue and to the regular route. A reverse detour will occur for the southbound route.
