MyStop app provides real-time bus info

The MyStop real-time bus tracker, found on the home page of the Votran website, can help riders get information on:

• What area a route services
• Location of stops
• Stop identification information
• Real-time bus location
• Access to Trip Planner utilizing Google Transit

Riders can set alerts about routes and stops they frequent most. They also can receive service alerts to find out about delays, detours and schedule changes.

Technology is advancing and improving how we commute. Receive information about the next time a bus will be at your stop by texting.

Text VO to GO!

Type 321123 in the “To” box of your phone text messaging feature. Then type VO and the bus stop ID number in the message (ie VO1208). Send and you will receive the next time a bus will be at that stop. Riders can currently find the stop ID numbers by using MyStop live bus tracker. Votran is working to place the stop ID numbers at all stops.

iPhone users can install the FREE My Stop Mobile app from the iTunes App Store. When initially opened, the app will show you what transit is available in your area. Choose Votran when prompted. This app shows where Votran buses are in real-time and when your next bus will arrive at your stop. This app is under development for Android operating systems.
